Our goal is to make sure all children have the social, emotional, and academic skills they need to learn, grow and realize their potential.About The RoleKidango is looking for a qualified Behavioral Health Clinician who would provide direct intensive behavioral health services to children and families that are enrolled in KIdango centers in both Alameda and Santa Clara counties. Services include therapeutic intervention for both the children and families that qualify as well as coaching on intervention for the Kidango teaching staff.What You'll Be Doing Provides Direct services -Intake Services: assess appropriate referrals, conduct intake interviews, and complete necessary paperwork.Provide therapeutic services within Scope of Practice and Competency level for children ages 0-5 in through individual and family therapy modalities at multiple Kidango Centers in both Santa Clara and Alameda County.Assessment of social, emotional, and development of children birth to 5 years old and completing an Assessment for Intervention (AFI) reportCertification in the Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths Assessment (CANS) assessment tool preferred.Establish and implement quality clinical treatment services.Document, complete and submit all client documentation by the program stated deadlines.Develop treatment plan goals and charting.Maintain and update client chartCoordinate treatment for the benefit of the child with teaching staff, Center Directors and Regional Directors.Coordinate treatment for the benefit of the child with Kidango support services such as Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation (ECMHC), Early Intervention Services (EIIS) and Headstart Services.Communicate respectfully with professional and paraprofessional staff and other community membersProvide appropriate referrals and linkage to community resources.Report all suspected child abuse according to laws and regulations.Attend regularly scheduled training and community meetings as assigned.Collaborate with childcare centers providing psycho-education to benefit the child, teacher and family as needed.Position requires travel to various centers.Preferred qualificationsBilingual preferred: Spanish, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Mandarin, or CantoneseMasters or Doctorate Degree in psychology social work or related field.Licensed MFT, LCSW or LPCC or License Eligible (BBS) AMFT, ASW, APCC.2+ years in the field of infant and early childhood mental health preferred.Training working with birth to five populations.Experience with multi-cultural communities.Experience working with young children 0-5 and their families.Familiar with principles of early childhood mental health assessment and treatment.Self-motivated; ability to work both semi-independently and in cooperation with others.Strong case management skills, intake & assessment skills, cultural competency.The ability to travel to locations throughout Santa Clara County and Alameda County.Compensation$95,397.12-$95,397.12 USDAdditional RequirementsMust pass a health screening and TB test Must pass background fingerprint clearance Valid Driver License Must be 18 years or older The ability to lift up to 30lbs may be needed during some job dutiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functionsPerksAn opportunity to improve real lives, solve hard problems, and change the worldFriendly, supportive, and adventurous environment with a team of engaged colleaguesA comprehensive, industry-leading benefits package Opportunities to connect with and learn from colleagues and partners around the worldDrug-Free WorkplaceWe believe every employee has the right to work in an environment that is free from all forms of unlawful discrimination.
