Center for Human Development Inc. is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Crisis Clinical Supervisor to provide clinical supervision of the CHD Mobile Crisis Intervention Team (MCIT). Works under the general supervision of the Behavioral Health Head of Clinical Operations and Director of Behavioral Health. Supervises MCIT staff, responsible for ongoing program development, and serves as a liaison to the community. Provides consultation, training, and technical assistance to MCIT staff. The Crisis Clinical Supervisor provides after-hours emergency services, phone consultations, and crisis intervention. This position may carry's a small caseload as determined with a maximum of 10 clients.

Essential Functions:
* Coordinates with community partners and provides education and support to community partners, i.e. Sheriff's Department, hospital, courts, etc.
* Staffs and provides support over the phone for crisis staff (24/7)
* Actively responds to crisis (assessment and coordinating of care)
* Oversees civil commitment process.
* Certified Clinical Supervisor or willing to complete requirements as a certified clinical supervisor within two years of employment
* Supervises clinical practice.
* Provides clinical supervision (individual and group) to all crisis staff. Hold staff accountable for performance measures including, but not limited to, productivity, timely documentation of clinical services, compliance with Medicaid and other regulatory and funding authorities, etc.
* Responsible for clinical consultation: conducts clinical case review; develops clinical best practices and standards; provides clinical consultation with department services and community providers; monitors clinical progress.
* Facilitates team development: how team members work together; conflict resolution; and acts as lead change agent with teams.
* Provides ongoing training and support around risk assessment, safety planning, and coordination of care.
* Clinical Supervisors report unresolved performance issues that may require personnel action directly to personnel rep and Head of Clinical Operations
* Work with the team to develop quality improvement processes
* Collaborate with the tech services team in the development of a data-tracking process
* Responsible for developing alternatives to hospitalization for the population served by the team and efforts are directed at minimizing psychiatric hospitalization.
* Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
* Other job duties as assigned.
The Requirements:
* Master's degree from an accredited university in behavioral/mental health, psychology, sociology, or other human services related filed.
* Must have 2 years post masters experience.
* Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Practicing Counselor (LPC) for at least 2 years preferred.
* Two years of experience in a comparable position dedicated to quality/ health improvement in a managed care organization or provider group or governmental agency or similar setting preferred.
* Ability to function in a team-based environment.
* Ability to effectively problem solve.
* Ability to manage individuals and teams through coaching, mentoring, training, and delegation.
* Effective oral and written communication.
* QMHP's must be credentialed as a mental health investigator or willing to pursue credentialing.
* Must possess a valid Oregon Driver's license and be insurable for client service purposes, travel between business offices, and to attend required meeting and/or trainings.
* Must pass all criminal history check requirements as required by ORS 536-181.537 and in accordance with OAR 407-###-####-407-###-#### and drug screening.
