Job Description:
Behavioral Health Customer Support Representative | Remote | Contract Walker Healthforce is seeking a Behavioral Health Customer Support Representative for a healthcare client located remotely. This is a contract position. Eligible candidates MUST be local to NM, TX, OK, MT or IL. Start Date: ASAP Walker Healthforce Standard Perks:

JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Respond to provider requests for behavioral health services via live call queues
  • Address provider needs or route requests to the appropriate internal team
  • Generate and send correspondence to members (manual or electronic)
  • Perform data entry to update customer and provider information
  • Assist the clinical team by handling non-clinical tasks to generate and close cases in the system
  • Maintain production requirements and support department business needs
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers, management, and customers
  • Adhere to HIPAA, compliance policies, and maintain strict confidentiality
  • Report developments and complete special projects as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • 1 year of college and 2 years of experience with automated systems (OR)
    • 3 years of experience with automated systems
  • 1 year of experience with managed care systems
  • Must have a background in Healthcare
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Customer service and call resolution experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook etc.)
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Utilization review experience
