Behavioral Health Customer Support Representative | Remote | Contract Walker Healthforce is seeking a Behavioral Health Customer Support Representative for a healthcare client located remotely. This is a contract position. Eligible candidates MUST be local to NM, TX, OK, MT or IL. Start Date: ASAP Walker Healthforce Standard Perks:

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Respond to provider requests for behavioral health services via live call queues
- Address provider needs or route requests to the appropriate internal team
- Generate and send correspondence to members (manual or electronic)
- Perform data entry to update customer and provider information
- Assist the clinical team by handling non-clinical tasks to generate and close cases in the system
- Maintain production requirements and support department business needs
- Communicate effectively with co-workers, management, and customers
- Adhere to HIPAA, compliance policies, and maintain strict confidentiality
- Report developments and complete special projects as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 1 year of college and 2 years of experience with automated systems (OR)
- 3 years of experience with automated systems
- 1 year of experience with managed care systems
- Must have a background in Healthcare
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Customer service and call resolution experience
- Proficient with Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook etc.)
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Utilization review experience
