Behavioral Health Outpatient Counselor - Full TimeJoin a supportive team who values Compassion, Excellence, Collaboration, Inclusion, Hope, & Authenticity!As our full-time BHO Counselor with our Clinical Outpatient Services Program located on Garner Rd in Raleigh, you will provide clinical services including group, family, and/or individual therapy, community support, and clinical evaluations for mental health & substance use services. ScheduleFlexible! We can accommodate 5, 8-hour shifts or 4, 10-hour shifts. The goal is for clinicians to bill a minimum of 25 hours of clinical services each week.Hybrid and fully remote options available!PayStarting rate for this role is between $22.59 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience and licensure.BenefitsBeing a part of a non-profit behavioral health organization has some unique benefits, along with our incredible health insurance options. After 6 months employees are eligible to enroll in our 401(k) plan which has a 4% match. Company paid life insurance, short and long term disability, in house and paid training opportunities, and additional pay for working holidays.Job Responsibilities of a Behavioral Health Outpatient CounselorProvide clinical services - group, family, and/or individual therapy, community support, and clinical evaluations for servicesMaintain client records - treatment planning, PCP, clinical psychosocial assessments and service notesComplete documentation for authorizations for MCO funding, Medicaid, and 3rd party billing in timely mannerIdentify resources and provide support for clientsParticipate in clinical supervision and team meetingsAvailability to provide SAIOP services occasionally, as neededParticipate in crisis phone rotation (approx. 1-2 times per year)Qualifications of a Behavioral Health Outpatient CounselorEducation and ExperienceMaster's Degree in a Human Services fieldLicensure/Certifications Licensed (fully or provisionally) to practice clinically (LCSW,LCAS, LMFT, LPC) - full LCSW preferred!Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesClinical experience working with groups, individuals, and/or families suffering from mental health disorders and/or substance use disordersExperience with dual diagnosis addictions and/or substance dependence/abuse and DSM-V modelKnowledgeable and skilled in the 12 Core FunctionsExperience with electronic medical recordsAbility to speak Spanish is a plus, but not requiredAbout SouthLight HealthcareTap into your passion at SouthLight Healthcare.
