  • Act as a professional and ethical role model to patients and staff.
  • Disseminate direction to clinical support staff from Clinical Support Supervisor
  • Provide comprehensive orientation, professional development and training of Behavioral Health Techs as directed by the Clinical Support Supervisor.
  • Monitor therapeutic environment and milieu, including security of the facility. Ensure that programming is conducted according to schedule.
  • Monitor activities of assigned shifts according to Bradford Health Services supervision policies and procedures and coordinate intra-departmental information
  • Assure proper and legible documentation of activities conducted by shift staff.
  • Able to work in a cooperative manner with co-workers, managers, clients and prospective clients.
  • Must maintain a professional demeanor and appearance, must not appear impaired or disoriented, but rather must present coherent and articulate speech, kept appearance, alert, oriented, and responsive to patients' needs and concerns.
  • Able to work in constant state of alertness as to perform the job in a safe manner.
  • Regular attendance.
  • Attend and participate in supervisory meetings and clinical staffing.
  • Perform all duties of Behavioral Health Techs
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Must have valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Undergraduate degree in Behavioral Science or C.A.C. preferred.
  • 1 year experience in alcohol/drug treatment with direct patient contact required
  • Must be able to walk within the facility and on the grounds of the facility for approximately one (1) mile per every eight (8) hour shift.
  • Must be able to continuously sit for approximately three (3) hours per eight (8) hour shift.
  • Must be able to administer CPR and be certified (training provided on-site)
  • Must be able to see and hear constantly.
  • Must be emotionally and physically capable of functioning under stressful situations.
  • Must be able to stand continuously in increments of 45 minutes to one (1) hour.
  • If recovering, two years of continuous verifiable abstinence.
