Job DetailsLevelExperiencedJob LocationCenter for Children & Autism Services - Lancaster, PAPosition TypePart TimeEducation LevelNot SpecifiedJob ShiftDay ShiftDescriptionSUMMARYBehavioral Health Technician-Applied Behavior Analysis (BHT-ABA), is responsible for completing the required training in accordance with IBHS Regulation and the Behavior Analyst Certification Board to demonstrate competent service delivery under the direct supervision of the clinical director and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), and become eligible for RBT certification. After completing their training and demonstrating competent service delivery, the BHT-ABA will assist the BCBA with implementing behavior plans and Individualized Treatment Plans, namely assisting clients with day-to-day activities, monitoring behavior, recording and collecting data and communicating with the BCBA and assigned families. Complete the 40-hour RBT course work in its entirety.Complete all IBHS required training in their entirety.Complete the RBT Initial Competency Assessment in its entirety.Submit necessary documentation to the Behavior Analyst Certification Board to apply for RBT credentialing.Work cooperatively with families, caregivers, and team members to provide children with the best possible care and treatment. Provide Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy in the home, clinic and community settings. Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the BCBA. Support the BCBA with training families on implementing the individualized treatment plans. Collect data about individual's behaviors through direct observation and monitor progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan. Provide regular written and verbal progress updates on treatment plans. Assist the BCBA as directed with behavior reduction assessments and skill acquisition plans.Teach individuals the specific behavior skills in a treatment plan.Communicate behavioral intervention results to individual's parents and caregivers. Attend team meetings as needed and training workshops. Ensure the individual is in a safe and positive environment at all times. Understands and adheres to established policies and procedures Maintains ongoing confidential records of client files. Maintains acceptable attendance status, per agency policy Maintains professional documentation within established timeline and demonstrate effective time management skills.Follow policies and procedures of Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) and Excentia Human Services. Other job functions as assigned. EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCEExperience working with children with behavior concerns and developmental disabilities preferred. EDUCATIONHigh school diploma required. Bachelor's degree in special education, psychology or related field preferred.
