The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) within the CSBBH Program provides therapeutic and case management services to children and their families in a setting other than the provider agency or office. These settings can include the child's home, church, community center, school or other community settings. The care provided is child-centered and family focused. The Behavioral Health Technician functions as a member of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure quality care is being provided and is medically necessary. Qualifications: Requires a bachelor's degree in a human services field. Two year's experience in the mental health field is preferred but not required. Experience/Specialized Skills/Aptitudes Knowledge of the mental health and social service field; familiarity with and ability to access community resources; ability to make accurate assessments of client needs and to be creative in seeking appropriate services; ability to organize time efficiently to meet client needs in a flexible, non-traditional time frame.Generous benefit package inclusive of health insurance, 401k, paid leave & holidays, and more.
