About George Junior Republic:Founded in 1909, George Junior Republic is dedicated to helping at-risk youth become successful, well-adjusted adults, capable of achieving a higher degree of citizenship and a better understanding of his responsibility to society, family and self.Summary of the position:THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN GROVE CITY, PA, ON THE GEORGE JUNIOR REPUBLIC CAMPUS. The Behavioral Health Technician 1 and 2 are the primary childcare personnel for the Special Needs Units/Intensive Supervision Units/ and Diagnostic Facilities. This position is designed to provide the daily services of safety, security and structure to the persons served. The care, custody and supervision of the persons served are the primary concerns of the job.Pay:Behavioral Health Technician 1 pay starts at $22/hour.Behavioral Health Technician 2 pay starts at $20/hour.Starting pay may be increased with certain education and/or experience.Responsibilities:Supervise and monitor youthConduct one-on-one sessionsComplete Treatment Goal NotesAttend activities with youthAssist in teaching youth life skillsRequirements:For the Behavioral Health Technician 1 - Must have an associates or Bachelors degree in social work, psychology, sociology or related field.For the Behavioral Health Technician 2 - Must have a high school diploma or GED.Familiarity with behavioral modification, and treatment principles preferred but not required.Must be at least 21 years of age.Act 33/34 Clearances will be required.Must be able to work a rotating schedule.Must be able to perform passive physical restraint.Benefits:Comprehensive health benefitsPaid Time OffPerformance bonusesLife Insurance provided by employer401(k) with employer match403(b)Tuition reimbursement program* George Junior Republic and Affiliates is an equal opportunity employer.
