Behavioral Health Therapist - Full-time ID 2024-11655 Category Behavioral Health Position Type Regular Full-Time Overview Quincy Medical Group (QMG) is seeking a compassionate and experienced Behavioral Health Therapist to join our team. QMG is a multi-specialty group practice with more than 155 physicians and providers serving West Central Illinois, Southeast Iowa, and Northeast Missouri. Responsibilities As a Behavioral Health Therapist, you will provide outpatient individual, family, and group psychotherapy to patients in need of mental health services. You will assess and treat a range of mental and emotional disorders using evidence-based practices, with the goal of improving patients' overall mental health and well-being. In this role, you will conduct thorough initial assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document all patient interactions in a timely and accurate manner. You will also collaborate with community resources to support patients' reintegration into their communities or their adjustment to new limitations. This full-time, salary, exempt position is based in Quincy, IL. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of psychosocial development, behavior, and interpersonal relationships. You should be passionate about helping patients achieve their optimal mental health and thrive in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field required. Minimum of two years of mental health therapy experience preferred. Must hold and maintain a valid license in the state of practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). Must meet Continuing Education Unit (CEU) requirements as regulated by licensure and provide license renewal documentation to Human Resources. Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to document patient interactions thoroughly and accurately.
