Job Description:

Every Child is looking for a dynamic, energetic, and versatile Bachelors-level clinician to provide intensive school and community-based therapy in our Logan Elementary CSBBH program in North Versailles, PA. Our team provides therapeutic interventions and support services to children and adolescents so the child may continue to attend school and live in the least restrictive home environment. We provide services in the home, school, and community settings. What we offer:

  • $40,000-44,000 annually based on years of experience
  • Retention bonus of $500 beginning after 1 year that increases each subsequent year for a maximum of $2100

About the role: Our mental health clinicians are responsible for helping children and adolescents work through a large spectrum of behavioral and emotional challenges. You could meet your client inside or outside the classroom, engage in activities like taking a walk, sit in the family's home, craft in the Club House, or play in the backyard. You would also collaborate with your care team and support the family as a whole. Our work with our clients focuses on relationship-based support combined with an understanding of systemic needs including clinical, school, work, and social skills. You'll be a good fit if you possess the following:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or related field.
  • Minimum of two years related experience in a clinical setting.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in the provision of behavioral health services.
  • Proficient in problem solving, well developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiar with psychiatric diagnosis and knowledgeable of supportive and concrete services available to children and families via community and social service organizations.
  • Ability to demonstrate effective problem solving and negotiation skills with consumers and to empower families.
  • Familiarity with solutions and family systems therapy models.
  • Mandatory ability to be crisis on-call to families during office hours and be part of a crisis on-call departmental rotation after office hours.
  • Ability to maintain highly confidential data.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and multi-task to meet important deadlines
