Job Description:
RIDGEVIEW, a not-for-profit community mental health center, has an immediate opening for a Full-time (40hrs/wk) PSR Program Assistant for our LaFollette, TN social services location. This direct care position provides the motivated applicant an opportunity to work on skills development with adults experiencing mental health and behavioral concerns in the context of a weekday social services program. While experience or education is helpful, training will be provided for the right candidate. Experience working with persons who are severely and persistently mentally ill preferred. Computer proficiency preferred - particularly in Excel, but also with the capability of learning our electronic health record. Other preferred, but not required, skills include group leadership, food service, teaching practical food service skills, and providing corresponding documentation. Valid Tennessee driver's license and safe driving record required.JOB DUTIESThis position is primarily responsible for providing transportation to members not served by public transportation and/or for program activities and food service.
