Behavioral Technician - KVC Missouri Residential Treatment Center: Columbia, MO
Pay: $16-$18.50 Depending on Experience and Education
Sign On Bonus: $1500.00
Shifts:Overnights (10:00PM-8:30AM)
Job Summary:As a Behavioral Technician (BHT), you will provide for the physical and emotional needs of the clients assigned to your cottage and facilitate a healthy group living experience. You will also participate in a multi-disciplinary treatment team in the care of clients. This position is great start to gain experience in the mental health/social services fields!
Responsibilities:Provide for the physical and emotional needs of clients, including:- Providing meals and snacks
- Assisting with personal care
- Monitoring medication
- Intervening in crisis situations
Facilitate a healthy group living experience, including:- Creating a positive and supportive environment
- Managing conflictEnforcing house rules
- Participate in a multi-disciplinary treatment team in the care of clients, including:Attending treatment team meetings
- Providing input on treatment plansImplementing treatment plans
