Job DescriptionPosition: Bellman Department: Operations/BellstandPrimary Responsibilities: (guest interaction, ordering responsibilities, clean up duties, clerical responsibilities, etc.)• Smile, greet and welcome guest• Load and unload luggage from bell cart• Accompany guest to room• Explain hotel amenities to guestSecondary Responsibilities:• Answer bellstand telephone• Make room deliveries when necessary• Obtain transportation for guest• Maintain room key control• Shoe Shine and pickup/deliveryNormal Working Hours: (Shift, days)• 40 hours per week• Need to be available nights, weekends, and holidays• Must be available for overtime when needed• Subject to winter lay-offPast Work Experience Requirements: (Type of work, number of years required, equivalent experience, etc.)• Prior hotel experience preferredEducational Requirements: (Degree/Certification, highest required/preferred, field of study)• High School Diploma or G.E.D.Communication Skills Requirements: (Verbal: phone, in-person, group; Written: memos, documents)• Must be able to speak plainly and comfortably to guest• Able to speak clearly over the phoneTechnical Requirements: • Must be able to learn lay-out of the hotel and location of all amenities• Drivers license requiredPhysical Requirements:Location of WorkYesYesXIndoorsHeatedXXOutdoorsBelow GroundTemp.
