Open year round, the Inn is a five-minute stroll from Chatham's charming Main Street and within a short drive of all Cape Cod has to offer.The role of the Bell/Valet Attendant is to provide the utmost in guest service while ensuring that the guest's arrival, welcoming, and hotel orientation is handled efficiently and professionally. The Bell/Valet Attendant is responsible for but not limited to adhering to and practicing the Chatham Bars Inn Service Standards that include Preferred Hotels and Resorts, Forbes, and AAA. Additional responsibilities include:â ¢ Greeting the guest upon arrivalâ ¢ Smile and greet guests in a welcoming manner and use the guest's nameâ ¢ Assisting with their luggage and motor vehicleâ ¢ Escorting the guest to their roomâ ¢ Provide room orientation in addition to hotel orientation via maps and directionsâ ¢ Assisting with guest inquiriesâ ¢ Communications with the Front Desk at all timesâ ¢ Respond to and manage phone activity at the Bell station and company radiosâ ¢ Maintain a professional appearance at all timesRequirements:Superior customer service skillsAbility to multi-taskAbility to work well in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and organizationAbility to work closely and cohesively with other departments to ensure optimum guest satisfactionWell-groomedAble to stand for long periods of time during shift(s)Able to move quickly to retrieve guest's vehiclesPrevious experience preferred but not necessary#J-18808-Ljbffr
