Job Description:
This position builds Intralox conveyor belts according to customer orders in a fast-paced, teamwork focused environment. This is a full-time position in an air-conditioned, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. It is essential that this position be performed at the facility. The hours are 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Thursday. To learn more about our company culture, philosophy, and benefits, please visit our company page.Responsibilities: •Apply established standards, processes, and procedures to ensure workplace safety and quality •Inform supervisors of any part or equipment defects to ensure prompt response to the problem •Conserve resources and supplies to facilitate minimum waste •Follow the attendance policy of the department •Perform housekeeping duties as required •Maintain a clean and orderly work area •Able to work overtime, flexible schedules, holidays, and weekends as required •Assemble modules into conveyor belts according to customer orders •Follow all safety procedures and policies •Meet the minimum productivity requirement for the assembly teamRequirements: •High School Diploma or equivalent. •Basic understanding of electrical procedures. •Knowledgeable with use of hand tools •Mechanical aptitude •Strong problem solver and desire to learn •Must be a self-managed , team player comfortable working in a fast-paced environment •Must be punctual to work •Must have basic math and communication skills •Must have stable work history •Must have strong attention to detail •Able to safely work for extended periods of time, mostly standing, for a 10-hour workday •Ability to lift materials in excess of up to 70 pounds •It is essential that this position be performed at the facilityDesired Qualifications: •Previous experience with equipment subassembly production and/or metal belt production. •Experience working in a Lean environment •Qualified Forklift certification •Previous work experience in a manufacturing environmentEOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled#LI-CO1
