In this commission-based role, you'll provide personalized service using various platforms, guiding clients to the best insurance coverage options. Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering ongoing support and using consultative selling techniques to attract new customers. After comprehensive training, and at manager's discretion, we may offer the option of a hybrid schedule.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond to email and voicemail in a timely fashion even if the issue is not resolved; contact must be made with Clients and Consultants within 24 hours
- Log all phone conversations in AGENCYBLOC for all current clients with any issues/resolutions
- Handle customers' inquiries, questions and concerns professionally and courteously
- Provide accurate, appropriate and timely responses to all requests by customers, ensuring complete customer satisfaction
- Develop ability to work without constant direct supervision
- Maintain a positive, friendly, helpful and cooperative attitude when interacting with Consultants, Groups and Members as well as co-workers and peers
- Maintain all required testing; Pass AHIP testing, as well as carrier testing once a year
- Maintain your NJ Health Producer License and CE Credits, as well as any other state(s)
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demostrate empathy and understanding when discussing healthcare needs, and financial concerns.
- Ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely.
- Detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Commitment to ethical conduct and confidentiality regarding clients' personal information.
Education and/or Experience:
- 2 Years of experience preferred.
- Associate's Degree or higher preferred.
- Previous experience in sales, insurance, or healthcare advisory roles a plus.
- Must be comfortable with utilizing multiple platforms simultaneously.
Certificates, Licenses, Registration:
- Life and Health License required
