The Account Executive is responsible for retention of co-broker accounts by providing services and support for partnered agencies customers. Works closely with the partnered agency, their producers and customers to maintain an understanding of the evolving market.
This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must be licensed in Florida and currently live in the Eastern time zone to be considered.
The Account Service Division (ASD) at BenefitMall partners with brokers to manage existing books of business. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in small group benefits, preferably with a broker background. Skills required to be successful in this position are managing a high volume of business, strong multitasking and organizational skills, excellent communicator who collaborates well in a team environment, enjoys relationship-building, and the ability to adapt to change and adopt technology in a fast-growing organization. The compensation package includes monthly bonuses for performance and exceeds industry norms.

**REQUIRED RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Represent Company services in a positive and professional manner to ensure continued sales and Company growth by developing positive business relationships with clients.
+ Maintain a good understanding of the Companys products and processes and how clients interact with these products and processes.
+ Develop increasing knowledge of insurance industry markets, products, and legal environments to provide a value-added service to clients.
+ Provide information on carrier administrative procedures and product availability, and direction in selection of appropriate group products.
+ Conduct group meetings/webinars to further educate our Customer base on the services we provide.
+ Provide routine follow-up in on service issues and renewals.
+ Listen to the client ideas, resolving conflicts, solving problems, and providing timely feedback to the client.
+ Work renewal and market groups in order to obtain best products for them.
+ Actively participate in team meetings, providing input to contribute to the teams overall success in achieving customer satisfaction.
+ Physical requirements include sitting, frequently speaking and hearing, and occasionally standing, walking, bending, crawling, kneeling and the ability to lift up to 25lbs.
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**

+ **Life and Health Insurance License required.**
+ Associates degree preferred, along with a minimum of two (2) years experience in small group renewals.
+ Good knowledge of carrier plan features, benefits, and underwriting guidelines.
+ Understanding of insurance products preferably attained through working in a broker or carrier office.
+ Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook Exchange; proficient with various web browsers, most notably Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
+ Communicate with all levels of internal and external personnel, both verbally and in writing.
+ Read and comprehend carrier plan features, benefits and underwriting guidelines, and Company guidelines.
+ Develop and maintain good working relationships.
+ Determine when issues need to be escalated to a higher level.
+ Work in and contribute to a positive team environment.
+ Manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
