Job Summary:This individual contributor position is responsible for the administration of pension related employee benefits program analysis, reporting and compliance. This includes conducting research and analysis for represented and non-represented employees, conducting needs assessments, and researching documents across multiple benefits programs, systems, and technologies. This also includes executing projects involving multiple types of data sets and corrective measures, ensuring accurate and timely compliance with all pension operations activities, and consulting on special projects and implementation programs as assigned.Essential Responsibilities:+ Conducts needs assessments for benefit plan design by compiling plan provisions; analyzing collective bargaining agreements; and collaborating with Total Rewards strategy team to ensure thoroughness of assessments.+ Conducts benefits plan research in alignment with needs assessment results, changes in regulations or legislation, collective bargaining activity, and other business needs by researching and summarizing alternatives in benefits plan designs; and developing analysis frameworks and methodologies to examine the impacts of competing options and alternatives.+ Revises and/or designs portions of benefits plans or plan features as they relate to newly implemented plan provisions.+ Implements new benefit plans and/or changes to existing benefits plans by participating on departmental teams to ensure successful plan implementation; partnering with other departments or functions, as necessary; and identifying and escalating issues for resolution.+ Supports and executes benefits plan documentation, reporting, and compliance by participating in the annual documentation of employee benefit plans; supporting the collection and analysis of data for mandatory filings; identifying and requesting data for compliance testing; identifying and researching complex compliance errors; recommending correction methodologies; participating on cross-functional teams including external consultants and counsel to implement and/or perform remediation or corrective actions to maintain plan compliance; responding to information requests from outside agencies or auditors; interpreting benefit provisions and fact scenarios; and maintaining administrative system of record.+ Maintains relationships with outside vendors and/or consultants by working directly with external teams to ensure departmental goals are achieved; and supporting process improvement initiatives.Minimum Qualifications:+ Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, Social or other sciences, Public Administration or related field and three (3) years experience in benefits administration, data analytics, or a directly related field.
