Job Title: HR Benefits CoordinatorDepartment: Human ResourcesReports to: Director, HR & AdministrationFLSA status: ExemptSalary: $65,000 - $73,000Summary:This position will have responsibility for benefits administration. The ideal candidate should be an organized self starter with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines from inception to completion, and have the experience and judgment to prioritize appropriately. Attention to detail, excellent writing and communication skills; the ability to work independently with minimal direction; well-developed analytical skills; and the ability and desire to collaborate in a fast-paced dynamic setting will be keys to success. Must maintain high level of confidentiality.Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):Benefits and HR Responsibilities:* Responsible for benefit administration* Management of benefit portals (Cigna, Lincoln Financial; EyeMed, and TASC)* Assist new hires with benefit enrollment via Paycor* Process new hire benefit elections into Paycor and ensure records flow correctly through carrier connections; cross checking to make sure health benefit invoices tie to active enrollments on an ongoing basis* Maintain the HR Home page on the intranet making sure that information provided is accurate and up to date* Act as the first point of contact for benefit-related queries and assist employees with healthcare claim issues when necessary.* Provide support and assistance to employees with short-term, long-term & worker's compensation claims* Assist with the annual benefit renewal and plan design process* Manage the Open Enrollment process in Paycor - coordinate with healthcare providers and Paycor regarding the renewal process* Conduct 3-4 Benefit Lunch and Learn presentations per year to keep employees informed about CTIA benefits* Organize annual Health Fair - coordinate with healthcare providers to schedule flu shots biometric testing events, and other health-focused events such as hearing and vision tests, etc…* Act as primary back-up support with regard general onboarding and offboarding process* Responsible for gathering Did You Know (DYK) facts from various departments to help keep employees informed about CTIA benefits and other interesting facts relative to IT, Accounting, Membership, etc.* Upload DYK facts to the intranet and media screens on a weekly basis.Compliance Responsibilities:* Maintain compliance for all Health & Welfare Benefit plans and update HR Homepage on the Intranet on a regular basis* Submit 1095/1094 compliance via Paycor* Prepare and submit annual TASC Non-Discrimination Testing* Send out annual Medicare D Notices annually* Submit CMS Disclosure annually* Responsible for managing FMLA requests* Meet with employees to explain FMLA benefits and provide paperwork needed to file a claim* Correspond with employee throughout their leave to ensure paperwork is current and up to date* Keep HR Director informed throughout the process* Track the use of FMLA and CTIA Paid LeaveSupervisory responsibilities: N/ACompetency:To perform the position successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Project Management - Coordinate projects in a thorough and detailed fashionCustomer Service - Respond to requests for service and assistance in a positive and friendly manner; consistently meet project commitmentsInterpersonal Skills - Maintain strict confidentialityWritten Communication - Write clearly and informatively; edit work for spelling and grammar; able to read and interpret written informationTeamwork - Contribute to building a positive team spirit and assist others as neededPlanning/Organizing - Prioritize and plan work activities; Use time efficientlyProfessionalism - Approach others in a tactful manner; React well under pressure; Treat others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or positionQuality - Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughnessAttendance/Punctuality - Consistently report for work on time; Arrive to meetings and appointments on timeDependability - Follow instructions and actively ask questions, respond to management's directionQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Computer skills:Experience in HRIS benefit administration (Paycor preferred), Microsoft Office, with advanced experience in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Education and/or experience:Bachelor's Degree with minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources - benefit administration; strong project management experience desired.Language skills:Must have strong Public Speaking and presentation skills, be detail-oriented with knowledge of grammar and punctuation. Proficiency in proofreading skills and strong communications skills are required.Physical demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
