Description:Position Summary:Support the compliant administration of all benefit plans for our EG Retail America division, ensuring team members are having proper deductions taken from their pay and all related policies and procedures are being applied in an accurate and timely manner.Responsibilities:Enter benefit enrollment information and changes to benefits to our HRIS payroll system, UKG Pro. Entries will include, but not limited to, premium amounts, 401k deferrals, arrears, and all related benefits data.Respond to emails and phone calls relating to all benefits plans and programs. This includes support for field leadership as well as team members.Enter applicable data into all benefits related vendor systems, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of information for coverage purposes. Works with external vendors as needed to resolve discrepancies.Ensure compliance with all HIPAA related requirements in the management and handling of confidential HIPAA information.Prepare and maintain personnel files based on retention policies for the given benefits area.In collaboration with Benefits Specialist, plan and execute required notices and other communications to division team members and leadership.Serves as a resource on all matters relating to Benefits, ensuring compliance with all internal service level commitments.Provide support to the Benefits team with respect to special projects and daily tasks as needed.Working Relationships:HR Team, Finance, Payroll, IT, External Vendors and ConsultantsRequirements:Minimum Education: High School DiplomaPreferred Education: Associates or some collegeMinimum Experience: 1-2 years of office experience with a focus in data entry and customer servicePreferred Experience: 1-2 years of Benefits experienceLicenses/Certifications: N/ASoft Skills: High attention to detail, service oriented, solid organizational and communication skills.Other Requirements:Ability to exercise discretion while managing confidential informationEffective time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneouslyDemonstrates skills that show initiative and timely completion of tasksMust be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility and ability to work autonomously.Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, including Word, Excel, and Power Point.Travel: No travel requiredHours & Conditions: Monday - Friday, 8+ hour days in office setting. Hybrid work schedule: 3 days in office, 2 days remote- subject to change.Phsyical Requirements: Minimal physical effort required; sitting / standing at a computer for long periods of time.
