The Benefits Coordinator is responsible for the administration and coordination of employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. This role serves as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits inquiries, enrollments, and changes. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.This position is located in our corporate headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio and offers some remote capability throughout the week. Minimum one day in office is required.The candidate selected will be responsible for the following:Benefits Administration
- Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement plans, disability, and other voluntary benefits.
- Coordinate open enrollment processes, including employee communications, system updates, and vendor collaboration.
- Process employee benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations in a timely and accurate manner.
- Oversee online third-party websites and portal access, enrollment and activities for all insurance and benefit providers.
- Strive for improvements to elevate our Benefits program and processes, including reviewing and analyzing benefit plans regularly to recommend improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations such as ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA, and other applicable laws.
Employee Support
- Serve as the primary resource for employees regarding benefits questions, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Educate employees on available benefit options, eligibility requirements, and enrollment processes.

Position Qualifications
- Minimum of 21 Years of Age
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of hands-on, relative experience in all phases of benefits administration.
- Strong understanding of employee benefits regulations and compliance requirements.
- Heavy proficiency in HRIS and benefit administration systems.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, communication (both written and verbal), and technological skills.
- Must possess skills to navigate and execute software programs (Microsoft Suite, HRIS).
- Must have the ability to identify issues and willingness to discuss with appropriate teammates.
- Must have the ability to enter data timely and accurately.
- Must have the ability to adhere to both scheduled and unscheduled deadlines in a fluent environment.
- Professional certifications such as PHR, SHRM-CP, or CEBS is a plus.
- Successful completion of all required criminal background checks.
