This position will also advise and assist employees of the Company in the interpretation and application of benefit and wellness policies and programs. Domestic travel may be required.Essential Skills and FunctionsAssist in the interpretation and application of benefit policies and programs, answering routine inquiries from inside and outside the company on benefit related issuesAssist in the development of sound benefit policies and proceduresAssist in the preparation and distribution of written and verbal information to inform employees of benefits and or any other policiesContribute to keeping ADP-HWSE current; including any changes in plan design, cost structure or contracted benefit implicationsCoordinate changes as needed in the ADP systems (Enterprise & HWSE), including position managementParticipate in benefit and 401(k) audit tasks to ensure compliance with internal controls and the exchange of information between HRIS, Benefits and PayrollParticipate in completion of annual 5500's ensuring compliance with DOL and ERISA guidelinesParticipate in development, distribution and updating of Company Benefits for new hiresPrepares reports, presentations, business communications, data summaries, and other documents of both a recurring and non-recurring natureCommunicate with all management/supervisor levels, union personnel, contractors, and on-site customer personnelMust have strong Microsoft Office Suite computer skillsMust have strong organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skillsMust have ability to maintain confidentiality and a professional demeanorAll employees are required to adhere to ISO and OHSAS policies established by FMG and shall have high values for safety awarenessOther duties as assignedCompetenciesFincantieri utilizes basic universal competencies for all employees that are consistent with our strategy, culture and values. While performing the duties of this job, the employee's workspace is in a clean and comfortable climate-controlled setting with little to no exposure to the moving equipment, elements, extreme conditions, or risk of injury. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
