JOB PURPOSE The Benefits, HRIS, and Training Specialist is responsible for supporting organization-wide employee benefits programs along with supporting the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and employee training platform along with providing consultative services to the Human Resources (HR) team.The role involves working with the Human Resources leadership to assist in developing and implementing key initiatives to align with the company's strategic objectives. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEssential Job Functions:Benefits Administration

  • Supports the day-to-day employee questions on all benefits plans that includes, but not limited to Health & Welfare, retirement, life insurance, short term and long term disability programs, Worker's Compensation programs, etc.
  • Will collaborate on development and administration of employee benefits programs.
  • Manages the open enrollment process for all benefit and 401(k) programs, including the development of timelines, communication plan utilizing various media, system updates, coordinating with brokers, vendors, and reporting.
  • Works with HR leadership to ensure competitive and cost-effective benefit plans are aligned with industry trends.
  • Maintains benefit cost records and data for cost analysis.
  • Oversees employee changes and termination processes.
  • Oversees the process and administration of COBRA and HIPPA compliance. Assures the appropriate notifications are given to employees in accordance with federal regulations.
  • In coordination with Human Resources, supports the execution of all Leaves of Absences, including employee communications, legal compliance, and management of leave tracking related to include Worker's Compensation with communicating with LOA Employees, their Managers, other HR Business Partners, Third Party-Administrators, and Payroll.
  • Ensures full compliance with all state and federal regulations, reporting and filing requirements relating to all benefit plans. Work closely with benefit brokers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate ACA reporting compliance, 5500 filings, IRS and DOL filings and audit responses, and all other benefit related compliance obligations.
  • Ensures timely communications to HR management for Senior leadership in advance of any compliance concerns and issues.
  • Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations and timely reporting.
HRIS
  • Supporting all HRIS systems (needs analysis, research, design, testing, quality control, deployment, training, and administration) and human resources end users in the use of HRIS applications and desktop tools (recruitment, personnel performance evaluation, and document management systems and software).
  • Developing, documenting, and maintaining all current and new HRIS business process workflows for efficiency and compliance.
  • Maintaining and administering ad hoc report writing tools for end users; training and assisting users of those ad hoc report writing tools.
  • Analyze HR data and generate reports, metrics, and dashboards to support HR analytics and data-driven decision-making.
Training
  • Coordinates operation and use of the training programs and provides systems support to all users and resolves systems issues and works with vendors as needed.
  • Develops and implements program processes and procedures, maintains records and tracks outcomes.
  • Assesses needs, analyzes gaps, research best practices, and partners with management to identify, develop and implement successful and innovative learning and development programs.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to support overall organization and employee development initiatives.
Marginal Job Functions:
  • Knowledge of general office clerical procedures.
  • Manages communications related to assigned areas.
  • Strong computer skills with expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with other HRIS programs.
  • Ability to regularly exercise sound judgment.
  • Cross trains and serves as a backup for other Human Resources positions.
WORKING CONDITIONSPhysical Demands: Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Requires frequent walking, bending, and reaching to shoulder level. Requires occasional squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling weight up to 20 pounds. Requires repetitive hand movement. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Work Location: PAG Office on Lake Mirror Road building in Atlanta, GA and PAG North office located at the Battery in Atlanta, GA. Education/Training:High School diploma or equivalent required. BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business or related majors is preferred. Experience:At least 3 years of experience in a Human Resources related position. Benefits, HRIS and/or HR Generalist type of experience preferred. Aviation, Manufacturing or Trades Industry experience is a plus. Experience with UKG HRIS software is also a plus. Certificates/Licenses:Human Resources certification preferred.
