Job Description:

Empath Health is currently seeking a Benefits Manager to join our team. The Benefits Manager is responsible for the overall administration of all benefits programs, including: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, as well as 403(b) and 457 (b) and (f) plans, assuring that all plans are in compliance with relevant ERISA, DOL and IRS requirements. •Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. •Certifications: CEBS / CBP or advanced training in benefits management preferred •In-depth knowledge and understanding of all facets of employee benefit plans. •Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational and planning skills, including demonstrated ability to: design and implement effective communications, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, enforce deadlines, while maintaining flexibility to reassess and prioritize tasks. •Self-starter with excellent analytical, reasoning and problem solving skills. Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records. •Computer literacy, including all Microsoft Office applications, and web-enabled HR information systems and interfaces. High standard of customer service, professionalism, and confidentiality.
