What's the job?

This opening is for a Benefits Specialist, one of a team of professionals committed to high levels of client satisfaction and retention by providing consultation related to benefit plan options and enrollment process. This position delivers exceptional customer service and client implementation practices while exceeding client expectations.

Typical duties include:

  • Enrolling new clients to benefit offerings
  • Working with sales and and/or existing clients to quote and establish client health insurance plans
  • Coordinating open enrollment, and the overall enrollment system by updating, auditing, and editing all employee data, and communications
  • Fielding calls from clients and plan enrollees about deductions, premiums, cards, group numbers, effective dates, qualifying events and requests to cancel
  • Implementing client health benefit plans and provides direction to the Payroll Department regarding deductions and billing
  • Initiating corrections through the carrier
  • ACA tracking and report facilitation for clients

Skilled needed are:

  • Detailed oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Quality focused with excellent project management skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Unwavering commitment to customer service
  • ACA understanding
  • PEO industry knowledge preferred
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check
