Informs and guides employees on benefits matters regarding eligibility, coverage and provisions. Maintains benefits information systems, prepares appropriate documentation, and processes necessary paperwork. Education and/or Experience:•Bachelor's Degree in related field required or a minimum of eight years directly related experience required•Minimum three years experience in Benefits Administration and/or Leave Administration required•Good knowledge of health/ welfare, retirement and leave benefit products, services and tools•Federal and state-specific leave and paid family leave laws required•Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and tact •Experience with UKG PlanSource preferred•Intermediate knowledge of MS Word and ExcelJob Responsibilities:•Resolves complex matters pertaining to employee benefit programs, including life, health, disability insurance, medical/dependent care spending accounts, COBRA, income continuance, and paid time off as well as retirement and pension plans•Lead data integrity efforts to ensure compliant and efficient eligibility and enrollment data within benefit enrollment solution and with benefit vendors•Administers wellness programs and activities designed to improve employee health and wellbeing•Assists with new-hire orientations•Benefit vendor management•Creates employee communications that encourage participation in wellness activities and health screening programs•Responsible for billing reconciliation, and timely payment of all health and welfare bills•Administers Retiree benefits•Works with Pension administrator and performs pension calculations•Participate in audits of benefits functions/programs/systems by providing information/access to internal/external auditors, reviewing audit results and following up on issues to ensure they are resolved•Monitors benefit trends in the business environment and must stay abreast of applicable benefits legislation•Perform system enhancements/upgrades/testing for Benefits platformsBenefits of Joining the Teachers Team:We provide a competitive compensation and benefits package that includes, but is not limited to:

The good faith range for this position is $75,000- $90,000 annually. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs.
