Bargaining Unit: Non Represented - ProfessionalRate of Pay: DOESummaryManages Systems to assist employee with benefits, including Retirement plans, Medical, Dental, Vision, RX, Basic and Voluntary Life & AD&D, Basic and Voluntary Ltd as well as other Voluntary plans, including, pet insurance, accident, etc.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Help employees navigate employee benefits systems for Medical, FSA, Retirement
  • Maintains knowledge of benefits practices and procedures to provide assistance to Benefits Coordinator.
  • Provides assistance to eligible employees enrolling in benefits as new hires or life events.
  • Inputs and updates employee benefit enrollment information in Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and communicates with third party administrators.
  • Interprets personnel and benefits procedures for employees and managers.
  • Inputs, updates and monitors employee benefit information in hospital and third party administrator computer systems.
  • Audits payroll deductions and completes monthly payroll requests for administrative billing and medical plans.
  • Answers employee benefits questions and acts as liaison between employees and benefit providers.
  • Works with vendors to report ACA filing
  • Maintains and inputs benefit payroll adjustments each pay period
  • In conjunction with the Benefits Associate, prepares bi-weekly check requests for Accounting for benefit payroll deductions.
  • Supports the Benefits Coordinator during Open Enrollment
  • Provides backup to other roles within the department as directed.
  • Demonstrates System Values in performance and behavior.
  • Complies with System policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as may be assigned.
