At Delta, we help clients prosper by educating and providing impactful HR services tailored to Clients' needs.Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Benefits Team Lead to be the subject matter expert who helps the benefit specialists oversee our clients benefit programs. The benefits team lead will also manage a team inclusive of human resources, payroll and benefits. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership skills and a strong understanding of benefits design, administration, and compliance. This role will be pivotal in ensuring our benefits offerings are competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with our company's goals to attract and retain top talent.Key Responsibilities includeLeadership & Team Management:Lead and mentor the assigned team, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting professional development.Oversee daily operations of benefits, human resources and payroll, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to company and team goals.Benefits Administration:Manage the design, implementation, and administration of client benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, and other ancillary benefits.Conduct regular market analysis to ensure that the company's benefits offerings are competitive and in line with industry trends.Policy Development & Compliance:Develop and maintain benefits policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Stay updated with changes in laws and regulations related to employee benefits and communicate necessary changes to the team and employees.Employee Communication & Engagement:Design and execute effective communication strategies to educate employees about the benefits programs and promote participation.Serve as the subject matter expert for benefit inquiries, resolving issues as they arise and enhancing overall client/employee satisfaction with benefits offerings.Vendor Management:Manage relationships with external vendors and consultants, ensuring service delivery meets company standards.Coordinate with the benefits pod regarding client open enrollment processes, including vendor liaison and system management.Reporting & Analytics:Analyze benefits usage, trends, and costs to make informed recommendations for improvements and adjustments to programs.Prepare and present reports to senior management regarding benefits utilization, effectiveness, and budget forecasting.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or a minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits administration, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.Acitve Louisiana insurance licensein Health, Life & Accident or obtain within first 6 months of employment.Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs, HR policies, and regulations (ERISA, ACA, FMLA, etc.).Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficient in HRIS and benefits management systems; advanced knowledge with microsoft office programs.What We Offer:Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.Comprehensive benefits package including 2 health insurance options, retirement plan with a company match, company paid Life Insurance, Short & Long Term Disability, vacation + sick time, and host of other anncillary products like pet insurance, identy theft protection, etc.Opportunities for professional growth and development.A supportive and inclusive workplace culture.Team building activies to show off your dance moves, cooking abilities, trivia chanllenges and so much more.If you are passionate about employee well-being and have the expertise to drive our benefits programs, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity at Delta Administrative Services.
