The Opportunity: Join our team as a Beverage Tent Attendant at the Summer Concert Series! You'll interact with concert-goers, selling and serving beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks. Responsibilities include checking IDs, selling tickets, pouring beverages, and helping with event setup and cleanup. Most importantly, you'll deliver top-notch customer service and ensure a great experience for all attendees.

When You'll Work: - Tuesday evenings, June 3 - August 12, 2025 (11 concerts) from 5:00pm - 9:00pm.
- Beverage Tent Attendants must to commit to a minimum of 7 concerts for the season.
- An on-site training will be held in May or June.
- Additional hours available to work other special events.
Job Location: Fishel Park, 1036 Grove St, Downers Grove, IL 60515
A Typical Day Looks Like: - Verify the age of customers by checking identification cards to ensure they are of legal age to consume alcoholic beverages.
- Utilize a Point-of-Sale system on a tablet to sell beverage tickets, process credit card transactions and make change accurately, while providing exceptional customer service.
- Pour and serve beer and wine and non-alcoholic beverages, while following all applicable state and local laws regarding the sale of alcohol.
- Assist with set-up and clean-up of the concert series and associated equipment.
- Provide a high level of customer service by greeting customers with a smile, answering questions about beverages.
About you: - You're at least 21 years old.
- You communicate clearly, have a positive can-do attitude, and follow instructions to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
- You're flexible, prioritize safety, and comfortable working outdoors.
- BASSET certified (4-hour online training provided by and paid for by the District upon employment)
- You can work in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure.
- You, preferably, have previous experience in customer service, special events or the hospitality industry.
