Job Description:Baptist Health is looking for a Human Resource Business Partner to join our team in Lexington.The HR Business Partner (HRBP) provides comprehensive HR consultation and support services to an assigned business unit. The HR Business Partner will assist with maximizing the effectiveness of Baptist Health leaders and contributes to the achievement of strategic objectives and assist with projects as needed. The HRBP will need to be comfortable and fluent in handling employee relations issues, relationship management with key stakeholders, solution-focused, collaborative and advocate of change within the organization.
Essential Functions:- Builds strong relationships with strategic partners to deliver on key initiatives.
- Provides coaching to leaders on employment matters and serves as a trusted advisor.
- Assists in solving problems associated with talent/people.
- Monitors compliance with workplace policies and practices.
- Assists with developing and delivering training based on identified needs.
- Focuses on performance management to improve productivity of assigned scope of responsibilities.
Required experience:- 3+ years experience in HR as a generalist or related position
- 2+ years of employee relations experience
- Proficient understanding of employment laws (EEO, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Harassment, etc.)
- Proficient in MS Office software
- Healthcare experience preferred
Education requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Communications, Business or 10 or more years of experience in lieu of degree
- SHRM-SCP/CP or SPHR/PHR certification or must be acquired within the first 2 years of hire date
