  • Over 4,000 Full-Time Associates across the Supply Chain
  • 14.5M square feet of small parcel, personalization, furniture, and manufacturing space in the domestic US, Williams-Sonoma has developed an agile and capable distribution network consisting of the following:
    • Large package / furniture distribution centers located in Southern California, Northern California, Texas, Georgia, and New Jersey totaling 9.2M square feet plus another 1.2M square feet of standalone final-mile furniture hubs.

The BI Developer role supports the organization by creating and maintaining the foundational data that support analytics and reporting of customer fulfillment, inventory, sales and margin, and customer behavior data. This role is a key player in ensuring leadership and business users have access to accurate data and reporting to support analysis and drive decision making. The ideal candidate will align with the brand by bringing creative thinking and innovation to help drive profitable business decisions. The BI Developer position is located in Brooklyn, NY.   • Design and develop SQL queries and data models utilizing multiple sources.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of data discovery, extraction, transformation, storage, validation, and testing across the enterprise data and analytics platforms and individual dashboards and reports.
  • Create Qlik dashboards with front-end visualizations that effectively communicate complex data.
  • Use Python to retrieve data from APIs, transform, and store into data warehouses.
  • Provide ad hoc analytical support for supply chain, inventory management, merchandising, and finance teams.
  • Create and maintain documentation of data and reporting sources, process, structure, and metric definition.
  • Partner with technology, supply chain, inventory, and finance teams and participate in solution design sessions
Check out some of the required qualifications we are looking for in amazing candidates....
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Analytics, or related field
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant BI development or data analytics experience
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and analytics software or BI platforms (Snowflake, Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Ability to transform and analyze large data sets and work through ambiguity to develop innovative solutions
  • Effective time management and communication skills
  • Capable of overseeing requirements gathering and solution design sessions to solve complex problems
We prefer some of these qualities as well....
  • Experience with QlikSense or QlikView
  • Experience with Snowflake
  • Strong knowledge of Python
