Job Title: Big Data Developer

Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid)

Contract Duration: 12 months (Potential Extension)

Pay Range: $75 – $85 an Hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong background in building and optimizing large-scale data processing applications.
• Design, develop, and optimize large-scale data processing applications using PySpark.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and build solutions for big data problems.
• Implement efficient and scalable ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines for processing and analyzing big data.
• Leverage Hadoop, Hive, and HDFS to manage and process large datasets.
• Perform SQL query optimization to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
• Ensure the quality, performance, and scalability of all solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud-based big data technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, G Cloud).
• Familiarity with other big data tools and frameworks (e.g., Kafka, Flink).
