Role Overview
To provide Human Resources support executing on initiatives and providing day-to-day interface with organizational leadership and employees to drive strong business performance and employee satisfaction
HR Administration:
* Understand the human resource strategy for the organization and how it supports the business strategy.
* Assists in execution of HR model delivery.
* Applies HR and business perspective to sense and draw attention to potential organizational problems and issues. Network with peers within and across organizations to continuously improve HR processes.
* Administers human resources plans and procedures; assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures and maintains all required documentation
* Assist with Downsizing Selection Process support (impacted employees, HR Managers, Pension administrator)
* Maintains HRIS records ensuring data integrity
* Provides Ad Hoc reporting
* Assist in completion of miscellaneous tasks and projects which include incoming mail (Unemployment Claims, Employment verifications, mortgage requests, misc. letters, filing, personnel folders)
* Processing and tracking of contract labor invoices. Manage HR Purchase orders in coordination with the COE
* Surveys and data analytics/questions for AAP, EEO, Vets, etc
Employee Support:
* Provide Employee guidance and advocacy
* Works closely with employees to meet their human resources-related needs though frequent employee contact (where feasible), senses the environment, understands/raises employee issues to manager and the HR team and addresses where appropriate.
* Assist in employee investigations and performance counselling.
* Facilitates Employee general questions (i.e., Benefits, Payroll, Medical, DSP, etc.)
* Primary support immigration and public files
* Manage the complete overhaul of the facilities/corporate real estate team
* Manage the onboarding process
Supervisory Support:
* Provides HR process guidance on HR policy/practices and available supervisor/employee tools to employees, supervision, medical, etc.
* Partners with employees and managers to communicate various HR policies, procedures, laws, and other government regulations and maintain compliance
* Assist with recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding guidance as needed
* Facilitate exit sessions (guide as well as conduct them);
* Facilitates or provides training to the workforce and coaches on employee development
* Assists managers with performance counselling and disciplinary actions
* Assist recruiting in getting candidates coordinated
Required Skills:
* Bi-lingual (Spanish and English) (speech and written)
* Knowledge of HR policies, processes, and procedures
* Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Excel (e.g., creating Pivot Tables)
* BS Degree or relevant work experience
