Bilingual English/Spanish communication with personnel. Responsibilities encompass processing new hire and terminated employee related paperwork information and associated departmental clerical functions, front desk clerical functions, which must be performed with efficiency, diplomacy, confidentiality and consistently positive attitude.Essential Job Duties
Manages and coordinates multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.Receive and screen telephone calls, visitors, and applicants, answer inquiries regarding job openings and application procedures.Ensures compliance with approved policies and procedures regarding employee(s), department(s), and organization.Demonstrable, real-time written and verbal fluency in both English and SpanishProcess new and terminated employees with associated paperwork.Responsible for maintaining the highest degree of confidentiality.Assist departments with scheduled interviews; distribute interview information packets; maintain confidentiality of interview process.Enter and maintain employee information in the Human Resources approved platforms.Ensures all required forms are completed accurately, timely and within approved guidelines.Communicates and networks effectively with staff, other departments, and outside representatives in order to maintain a productive and effective department operation.Safeguard and account for the assets of the owners. Comply with policies and procedures required by the department, the company, the Meskwaki Gaming Commission, and the National Indian Gaming Commission.Monitor the casino environment and follow established safety procedures to provide for the safety of guests and co-workers.Work respectfully and effectively as part of the company team to ensure guest satisfaction, asset protection, and co-worker respect.Supplemental Job DutiesReport to work on time and as required in professional attire, display a high level of personal cleanliness and follow personal appearance standards.Supports other Human Resources areas as directed by the Human Resources Director.Attends all required meetings and training sessions.May be assigned special projects or other assignments.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.Physical Requirements/Working ConditionsMay be exposed to loud and continual noise levels and a smoke-filled environment. Requires significant use of hands, arms, wrist and fingers associated with data entry and other computer usage. Frequent periods of sitting and viewing computer monitors. Occasional periods of walking, speaking, and climbing stairs are required. Some lifting up to 25 pounds may be required. In-town and out-of-town travel may be required. Must be confidential.Minimum Job Qualifications Knowledge/Education/Work Experiences: Requires a high school diploma or GED. A diploma/certificate from an accredited business school/college in a relevant field is preferred, or one (1) year of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of educations and experience. Bilingual in English/Spanish is required. Requires good knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications. Previous ADP-Human Resource software experience preferred. Must be able to obtain a gaming license in accordance with the regulations established by the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission.Skills/Abilities: Must be able to meet deadlines and be timely and accurate with assignments. Must be able to handle busy and stressful situations. Must possess poise and tact. Must have good interpersonal, organizational and computer skills. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be flexible with working hours and days off.
