- Administering employee benefits including insurance and open enrollment process.
- Recruiting (Posting Ads; Conducting pre-screens; Scheduling interviews, pre-employment screening, and background checks)
- Generating official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary slips and warning letters
- Creating onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures and regulations
- Performs routine task required to administer and execute HR programs including but not limited to leaves, resignation,
terminations, discipline matters, exit interviews.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other sensitive issues.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
- Complies with company policies and procedures.
- Additional duties as assigned by management.
Experience/Educational Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience of progressive HR responsibilities in managerial role
- Experience working in a HR capacity for a manufacturing company
- Excellent phone etiquette and courtesy, professional communication and customer relationship/service.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with all levels of management and employees.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- BS degree preferred, MBA desired
