Serves as a resource to school personnel in order to enhance learning opportunities (including materials development, translations, and technical support) for students identified as language minorityProvides interpretation/translation services by facilitating communication within an instructional environment via verbal and written modality between and among school personnel and language minority parents and students in situation in which those individuals are unable to communicate with one another due to a language barrierPerforms all other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or by SuperintendentProfessional Attitude and Conduct

After 90 days, a decision based upon an evaluation will be rendered in regards to the employee's status as a permanent employee.Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of non-instructional personnel.The Superintendent reserves the right to change the job and any other duties, as required, with advance written notification.*MAX salary Per Year is contingent on possessing a Masters degree at 30 years of employment.
