Job Description:

QPS Employment Group is hiring a Bilingual Recruiter for our branch office in Bridgeton, MO. We are looking for a passionate individual who is motivated, goal-driven, committed to hard work, and can embrace change. This person will work with applicants, recruiting teams, sales team, Branch Managers, and customers to meet business and hiring needs. Lead Recruiters play a larger role in staff development, assisting managers, and with client onboarding.

This is a permanent full-time, internal opportunity with QPS. Working hours will be Monday - Friday, 1st shift, and must be flexible to work 40-45 hours a week. The Recruiter will report directly to the Branch Manager.

Duties:

  • Sources candidate from employee databases, networking, on-line recruiting resources, cold calls, social media, employee referrals and by hosting organizing, and/or attending job fairs and networking events
  • Conducts candidate screening and evaluations. Including reviewing resumes, interviews, and relevant pre-employment checks
  • Establishes, maintains, and coaches a candidate pool of active and passive candidates
  • Proactively sources and on-boards new business independently and acts as primary contact for assigned or shared clients, external employees
  • Builds strong client business relationships by improving communication strategies and an elevated level of customer service
  • Reviews, understands, and helps define relevant job criteria and orientation materials by working with clients, attending on-site tours, writing job descriptions, and completing Job Hazard Analyses
  • Retains a record of communication and activities by documenting subject and details in appropriate software platform(s) and according to policy
  • Assists cross functional departments in Payroll, Risk Control, and external employee Benefit matters
  • Assists in the training and coaching of other members of the service operations and recruiting staff
  • Assists with managerial responsibilities which may include but not limited to: interviewing, hiring, feedback sessions including coaching and development, planning, assigning and directing work; EEO; performance management; budgeting; Quality control
  • 30% local travel
  • Other duties assigned

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience, the staffing industry is a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Valid driver's license, vehicle, auto insurance
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Some management experiences
