Job Description:
Job Title: Bilingual Material Handler Pay Rate: $18/hour Location: Louisville, KY Job Duties:
  • Accurately transfer products/parts, both physically and logically, into and out of warehouse locations.
  • Train - both English + Spanish speaking teammates.
  • Operate powered industrial equipment to move products throughout the facility.
  • Perform inventory counts as required to maintain accuracy.
  • Read, interpret, and resolve potential errors in WMS (Warehouse Management System) reports to avoid adverse customer impacts.
  • Identify and address obvious damage during any stage of the warehousing process, following established protocols.
  • Pull orders accurately as assigned and stage them correctly based on carrier locations.
  • Verify order details, including the number of pallets and staging location.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for receiving, storage, and shipping, ensuring product accountability throughout the process.
  • Adhere to location-specific safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Perform physical tasks that may require lifting 40-60 lbs.
  • Conduct housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Operate forklift equipment or other warehouse machinery as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements:
  • Bilingual - proficiency in English and Spanish is required and must have the ability to train teammates in both languages
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a warehouse environment and/or operating powered industrial lift equipment.
  • Ability to read, perform basic mathematics, and understand/respond to written and verbal instructions in English for safety, work instructions, and policy compliance.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted and navigating high-traffic areas safely
  • Proficiency in entering and managing data within various Warehouse Management System (WMS) platforms.
  • Willingness and availability to work overtime as assigned.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Competency in efficiently transacting system information using WMS or related systems
  • Certification to operate powered industrial equipment.
