Become a part of our caring community and help us put health firstThe Physician Assistant practices medicine under the direction of physicians and surgeons. The Physician Assistant works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

The Physician Assistant takes medical histories, examines and treats patients, orders and interprets laboratory tests and X-rays, makes diagnoses, and prescribes medications. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of two to five years directly applicableexperience
  • Successful completion of a nurse practitioner program with board certification
  • Active, unrestricted nurse practitioner or physician assistant license in state of practice location (FL)
  • Excellentcommunication skills, writtenand verbal; demonstrate a high level of skill with interpersonal relationships and communications with all colleagues; fully engaged in the concept of“Integrated team-based care” 
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) is required
  • Willingness and ability to learn/adapt to practice ina value-based caresetting
  • Superior patient/customer service
  • Basic computer skills, including email and EMR
  • Appropriate certification to write prescriptions under the authority of a collaboratingphysician/medical director
  • This role is considered patient facing and is a part of our Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted DEA license  
  • Medicare ProviderNumber/ MedicaidProvider Number  
  • Experience managing Medicare Advantage panel of patients with understanding of Best Practice in coordinated care environment ina value-based relationshipenvironment.  
  • Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and coverage. 
  • Knowledge of HEDIS quality indicators.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$115,200 - $158,400 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
