Summary
Bilingual Spanish
Member of the Tobacco Initiatives team, assisting with the development and implementation of tobacco prevention and cessation work plan. Conducts tobacco prevention and cessation education and initiatives primarily in the Latino community.
Provides community wellness education programs and screenings to area community neighborhood centers, community service organizations and churches. Assists site's coordinators with the development of their community outreach programs specifically health related. Works with director of outreach services to ensure consistent and high-quality service is maintained and to identify other outreach opportunities.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND CORE COMPETENCIES
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing or another health-re lated field preferred.
Indiana RN or applicable professional license.
CPR certification.
Experience:
Some experience in health promotion, human servic e or education background preferable.
Strong communication skills, customer service, teaching an d public speaking skills are required.
