Upper Manhattan Mental Health Center is a Certified National Health Service Corps (NHSC) site.For additional information about our organization and programs, please visit us on our website at www.bowencsc.org .JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Title: Bilingual Social WorkerDepartment: Children Outpatient DepartmentHours: 35 Hours per weekUnion: Local 1199Salary: $65,0000DescriptionProvide individual therapy children ages 5-18.Conduct Intake Assessments as needed.Complete treatment measurement tools, including screenings for anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorders. Provide weekly therapy to clients in person or via telehealth.Provide parent and/or family sessions as appropriate.Complete session progress notes and treatment plans.Complete written referrals/correspondence to other community agencies.Attend weekly supervision and team meetings.Assume other responsibilities delated by the Supervisor and the Coordinator to assure adequate and meaningful service delivery within the Unit. REPORTS TO: Supervised directly by the Social Work SupervisorRequirements LMSW/LCSW from an accredited School of Social WorkMust have experience in working with children, adolescents and families.Bilingual English-Spanish.Ability to work in office for clients that require in-person sessions. Therapists are currently working typically two days in the office. Ability to work when clients are available, particularly after school hours. Salary Description 65,000
