A healthcare network in New York City is currently seeking a Spanish-speaking, licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing Family Medicine team in the Bronx. About the Opportunity: Assignment Length: Ongoing Schedule: Monday to Friday Hours: 8am to 5pm Responsibilities: The Family Medicine Nurse (RN) will: Observe patients conditions Assess and records symptoms, reactions and progress related to medications and/or vaccinations Distribute non-prescription medication as requested by provider Assist providers during examinations and treatments Triage patients based on acuity Administer medications and vaccines Check equipment, logs, and medical kits; order supplies, as needed Maintain health records by documenting patient contact and updating patient profile Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications: 1+ year of experience working with Adults and Children Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license Bilingual (English and Spanish) Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and treating the underserved population Computer savvy Patient oriented Great interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong attention to detail Highly organized Desired Skills: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Outpatient background
