Job Description:

We're searching for an experienced Human Capital Specialist (Staffing Recruiter) to join our San Antonio team! The Human Capital Specialist (Staffing Recruiter) will be responsible for delivering high-quality service to customers and applicants by matching the skills of applicants to customers' needs.

Job Summary:

The Human Capital Specialist (Staffing Recruiter) plays a vital role in sourcing, assessing, and matching top talent to fulfill customer needs, focusing on candidates' overall employability factors such as work history, skills, knowledge, experience, and attitude. This role emphasizes delivering exceptional customer service to nurture long-term business relationships while consistently achieving targeted gross profit results. Moreover, the Human Capital Specialist is dedicated to upholding the highest quality standards in candidate selection and service delivery. They strive to exceed customer expectations by providing personalized attention, expert guidance, and tailored solutions that meet each customer's unique needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Market Manager and customers to understand the job requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified vacant position(s)
  • Utilize various resources including applicant tracking systems, online job boards, and social media platforms to identify potential candidates
  • Performs candidate pre-screening, arranges interviews, and conducts interviews according to the standard hiring process set by IHC
  • Screens candidates, selects qualified and interested candidates for the interviewing phase and then presents viable candidates to customers' hiring managers
  • Verify candidate's credentials, including experience, references, and backgrounds
  • Guide candidates throughout the interview and hiring process
  • Organizes and attends job fairs, coordinates, and plans recruiting events to meet planned weekly and monthly objectives
  • Maintains current and up-to-date records for both employees and customers in Avionte, ensuring completeness and compliance with local, state, and federal laws as well as customer agreements
  • Conducts post-interview follow-ups with hiring managers to assess placement viability and gathers feedback in case of unsuccessful placements
  • Actively participate in engagement initiatives aimed at enhancing talent retention and cultivating customer loyalty
  • Conduct customer site visits regularly as needed to assess and address specific requirements and ensure optimal service delivery
  • Collects and analyzes data to maintain a current understanding of fair and competitive market salaries, candidate availability, and demand for candidates in particular fields
  • Processes employee payroll information in Avionte, review all payroll documents for accuracy, and submit the necessary payroll documents to the payroll department on Mondays as needed
  • Monitors employee attendance, provides coaching and counseling to ensure high-quality performance and job satisfaction, and effectively resolves any customer, or employee issues or complaints
  • Assist in the facilitation of Workers' Compensation investigations, Harassment Investigations, and any necessary reports, along with related processes, under the guidance or assistance of the Market Manager and HR Manager
  • Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations
  • Conducts onboarding and new hire orientation processes
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
  • Experience recruiting for professional-level roles and working with MSPs is required.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in time management with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to remain composed and professional in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • An associate degree or higher is preferred, or a minimum of 2 years of equivalent work experience in staffing is preferred

Physical Demands:

Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with employees, customers, vendors, management, and other co-workers. Regular use of telephone and e-mail for communication is essential. Sitting for extended periods is common. Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, receiving ordinary information, and preparing or inspect documents. No heavy lifting is expected. Exertion of up to 10 lbs of force occasionally may be required. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculators, copiers, and fax machines.

Work Environment:

The job is performed indoors in a traditional office setting with occasional travel to customer sites.
