Serenity Center - THERAPISTS DUTIES, QUALIFICATIONS, AND JOB DESCRIPTIONThe licensed psychotherapist will work under the supervision of the Clinical Director. This licensed professional will be responsible for providing psychological and emotional support to clients and their families if needed. The psychotherapist must adhere to client confidentiality standards as well as Article 31 guidelines. All psychotherapy treatment duties are to be carried out through a client-centered approach. Responsibilities: -Responsible for providing psychotherapy services to all clients assigned to caseload-Responsible for maintaining a caseload of 20 closed sessions a week-Responsible for completing all documentation (intake assessment, treatment plan, psychotherapy notes, and discharge summary) in a manner which exceeds required standards-Responsible for maintaining a schedule of appointments such that clients can trust in the reliability of their clinicians availability-Assess clients emotional and mental health and-Responsible for attending required supervision, reporting any high-risk clients to supervisor and implementing guidance provided by supervisor-Responsible for completing all required trainings-Responsible for reporting all client incidents to your supervisor-Maintaining detailed confidential records-Expected to be invested in ongoing professional development as reflected by continued growth in abilities to build rapport with clients and sustain client engagement in the therapeutic relationship Qualifications: The candidates must meet the following criteria in order to be considered for employment in this position: -Experience working with children, adolescents, or adults in a therapeutic setting-Must have good oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including ability to relate to diverse client and community population via telephone and in person.-Must have a Masters Degree from accredited college or university in the mental health field and must be licensed as a mental health professional.
