Reporting to the Area Controller for our Display & Packaging division, the Billing Analyst is responsible for managing multiple complex billing arrangements with various customers. Responsibilities include timely billing on a daily basis, sales reporting, and sales analysis throughout the month. Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple complex billing arrangements with various customers.
- Backup other billing analysts in similar roles to provide for vacations and synergies across plants.
- Bill timely and accurately to ensure prompt payment from our customers.
- Daily sales reporting to management
- Resolve open opportunities that might cause an item to remain unbillable. This requires contact with other departments including sales and customer service to understand what is leading to open items and work towards resolution.
- Enter certain customer invoices into their portals as invoiced and monitor acceptance.
- Understanding of revenue recognition and learn stand operating procedures (SOP) specific to the billing role.
- Assist with quarterly and annual audit responsibilities.
Required Skills:
- A functional understanding of Excel and extreme attention to detail are critical.
- Understanding of accounting, basic math skills.
- Ability to adapt to multiple different platforms including various versions of Amtech and nuances by site.
- Communication skills and ability to work well among departments.
- Organization skills as well as the ability to prioritize.
Required Experience/Education:
- Associates in Accounting; combination of education and experience accepted.
- Three (3) or more years of experience
