As a Billing Clerk with the SEHD, you will join a dedicated group of public health professionals that help support the overall mission and vision of protecting lives of Georgian residents in a variety of ways. Job Responsibilities Under limited supervision, provides billing and claim submission for County Health Departments, Wellness Centers, and Programs. Serves as a system support for assigned counties. Completes monthly billing logs for Accounting and monthly error reports for Nurse Managers. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of job-related accounting or fiscal experience; or one (1) year of experience at the lower level Accounting Technician Trainee (FIT019) or equivalent position. Preferred Qualifications Associate's degree in a business curriculum or related field from an accredited college or university. Proficient in MS Word and Excel. Excellent customer service skills. Experience in billing, budget, or accounting activities.
