Job Type Part-time Description Echelon Transportation, LLCBilling ClerkTitle: Billing Clerk - BC Department(s): Accounting Reports to: Controller Direct Reports: N/A Job Summary The Billing Clerk - BC will work closely with our Controller to ensure that invoices are being sent and receivables are being collected on a timely basis to ensure optimal cashflow. Preferred candidate should have McLeod TMS experience or background in transportation. Candidate must be able to utilize and/or learn our systems (Triumph and Paylocity) and will be responsible for making sure that our ledgers are accurate. You will also work with the Logistics Operations Coordinators to ensure that every load has the correct rates, the necessary paperwork input, and anything else required for billing. As the BC, you will also work closely with our clients to develop relationships in their accounting departments to assist with any issues that will arise. The candidate will have the opportunity to grow in to a full time role with the company. Essential Job Functions

  • Checking figures, gathering and sorting documents related to invoicing
  • Collecting revenue
  • Paying bills
  • Preparing financial reports
  • Systems knowledge - McLeod TMS, QuickBooks, Triumph
  • Maintaining accounting ledgers and reconciling statements/transactions
  • Tax preparation
  • Providing administrative assistance to Controller
  • Quality Control
Minimum Requirements
  • Highschool Diploma / GED
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Must Pass Criminal Background Check
  • Must Provide Past Employment History
  • Minimum 2+ Years Experience with McLeod Software
