Foundation Automotive is seeking a Billing Clerk at its corporate office to prepare invoices and compile data for the dealership. In this position, you will be responsible for handling the billing and invoicing process related to vehicle sales, service, and repairs. Why Foundation Automotive?

Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all billing information is accurate and matches the services provided or products sold.
- Maintain organized records of all invoices, payments, and customer interactions. This includes tracking outstanding balances, due dates, and payment histories.
- Assist in the completion of paperwork and documentation related to vehicle sales, including titles, registrations, and financing agreements, ensuring that all legal and regulatory requirements are met.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding vehicle sales and billing practices, such as adhering to consumer protection laws and privacy regulations.
- Handle invoices from automotive parts suppliers and service providers. Verify that these invoices are accurate and process them for payment.
- Assist with tracking and managing automotive parts and accessories inventory, as well as updating inventory records to reflect sales and purchases accurately.
- Generate reports related to billing, sales, and accounts receivable, providing insights into the financial performance of the dealership.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, service, and finance, to ensure a smooth and efficient billing process and resolve any billing-related issues.
- Stay Informed: Keep up to date with changes in billing procedures, automotive regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; some college coursework in accounting or finance preferred.
- Proven experience in billing, invoicing, or a related financial role is a plus.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including billing software, Microsoft Excel, and accounting software.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Integrity and trustworthiness in handling sensitive financial information.
