Description We are in search of a Billing Clerk to join our team located in Zeeland, Michigan. This role is primarily focused on the review and encoding of service jobs, ensuring the accuracy of billing processes, and corresponding with various departments to ensure smooth functioning. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: - Review and correct discrepancies in paperwork received from Technicians, including parts details, bill coding, and future service quote needs. - Encode service jobs in field service management software for billing purposes. - Initiate new service jobs for dispatch and liaise with the Parts Department for price and availability of parts as needed. - Rectify errors identified during the billing process through re-encoding. - Follow up with Technicians on incomplete and missing paperwork. - Prepare Technician Service related reports for management.Skills: - Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and Accounting Functions - Knowledge of Sage 100 and Billing Functions - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Requirements - Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems- Experience with Accounting Functions- Knowledge of Sage 100 software- Familiarity with Billing processes and functions- Ability to use Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis- Strong communication and organizational skills- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, detail oriented manner- Excellent problem-solving skills- Ability to meet deadlines and manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
