WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO You will perform various functions in the billing office to a variety of payers and you perform a variety of complicated, non-routine tasks. You will communicate with clinical staff directly to accomplish billing responsibilities; and assist residents and families in understanding the cost of services delivered by the organization.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL: - Knowledge of long-term care insurance billing with emphasis in Medicare and Medicaid
- Experience posting of resident charges
- Update the daily census - send census reports to vendors weekly
- Prepare and process monthly resident statements
- Scan deposits
- Knowledge of resident trust accounts
THESE ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Associate's degree
- One to three years related billing experience and/or training
- Proficient in Microsoft office, excel, word
